Launching for the Holiday Season

Labyrinth Gardens entrance

Labyrinth Gardens Guest House opens for holiday accommodation bookings starting on 21 December 2021.

We are proud to announce the opening of our new guest house! We have patiently endured many months of delays owing to Resource Consent applications and supply chain disruptions. But it has all been worth it. We are happy to finally be able to open the doors and begin sharing our home and gardens with guests from all corners of Aotearoa — and the rest of the world too. Just in time for Christmas!

Kia ora & welcome to Labyrinth Gardens!

Owners Steve & Ken

In a nutshell, we offer quality accommodation with full amenities, consisting of three bedrooms: the Pukeko Room, Fantail Room, and the master suite, Heron Room. Wander and explore our 1.5 acres of gardens, including the Faerie Glen, Cascade Ponds, and our own private entrance to the Labyrinth Rocks Park.

It’s an Odd Season

Due to opening so late in the season, all bookings up until 31 January 2022 will be restricted to reserving all three bedrooms together (the whole house) holiday-home style. This gives us additional time to put the finishing touches on all of the myriad details that we want to get just right, and to make sure that all our procedures are operating smoothly.

Then starting February 1, individual rooms may be booked in the normal manner, with Continental Breakfast, B&B-style. You may still book multiple rooms at the same time. As part of our opening celebration, incentive discounts of 10% apply when booking two rooms, or 20% when booking all three at once. With all three booked, you’ll have the place to yourself.

Seclusion and Privacy

We give our guests space but are available when needed. Ken and Steve live in the original cottage on the same property. Just knock on the door or text if you need anything or would like some local tips. We are quite friendly and are happy to chat whenever you want. You will certainly see us out and about taking care of the gardens. Steve loves to show off the gardens and he will talk your ear off if you let him.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
